This is How We Like It We tend to like zinesters who plan to engage minority or marginalized voices in their zine, who intend to focus on local art or music, or who want to
use their zines as a way to communicate ideas about resisting oppression. This
includes (but isn't limited to) these topics: youth
empowerment, homelessness, economic justice, class, poverty, feminism, sexuality, anti-racism, anti-war, transgender, anti-capitalism, anti-authoritarianism and anarchism, spirituality and many more. We also try to support zines that wouldn't be published without some kind of money or support. Organizations that serve youth can also apply if the project will be primarily youth-directed and feature mostly youth contributors.
